Description
Like the other angel's Temples, the Temple of Anael is an impressive edifice. The stone walls of the vast main hall are covered in tapestries and paintings of various kinds, most of them fairly peaceful works having to do with hunting or farming. Tall marble columns and pillars rise straight up to the vaulted ceiling, where round windows allow in a great deal of light and fresh air. Overall, it's a fairly peaceful place indeed.
There's not a great deal in the way of furnishings in the Temple proper. The dominant object is the Statue of Anael - a tall statue of intricately carved wood that sits at the far wall of the Temple's hall; Anael himself is seated on a tree stump and in his hands is a collection of fruit and vegetables. Large bowls lay in offering around his feet; donations made by citizens of the city and the farmlands surrounding to ask for a bountiful harvest, more than likely. Various soft-spoken adepts head here and there, offering a word of advice or a listening ear to the various pilgrims and visitors.
