Shemhazai is one of Elua's eight companions, and eventually settled in the province of Siovale.

Precepts
Shemhazai is noted for treasuring knowledge, and is credited with teaching the D'Angelines their written language.
Academia
Many fine D'Angeline scholars hail from the province of Siovale, though Shemhazai's tradition of academia has transcended provincial bounds and extended to all D'Angelines. A great many travel to the university in Tiberium to study, though now they have the option of attending the new institution of learning in the city of Elua, the Universite des Compagnons, devoted to Shemhazai and the other companions of Elua.
Chosen Land
Siovale is the southwest province of Terre D'Ange, bordering Kusheth to the north, L'Agnace to the northeast, Eisande to the east and the country of Aragonia to the south and west. Its founder, the angel Shemhazai, treasured knowledge; the province itself has a history steeped in institutional learning. Some of the country's schools, colleges, and universities are run and funded by those from Siovale.
Priesthood
The traditional dress of the sworn clergy of Shemhazai includes the dark grey robes of the scholar.
