The Palais de Morhban is the official seat of the royal house in the province of Kusheth.

Location
The palais de Morhban is situated in the province of Kusheth, the home land of the royal house. Its construction was completed in the fall of the year 1185, commissioned by King Bastien de Morhban to serve as his official seat of power in the province, large enough to host the court that would travel with him on progress.

Salles Communes
The palais de Morhban features a variety of common rooms, of which can be found leading off of the great hall. The intention behind the common rooms is to provide places for members of the court, as well as those who are simply guests, to have the opportunity to congregate in quarters that are less private then some of the others to be found in the castle.
The common rooms include:
- The Great Hall
- The Throne Room
- The Petite Galerie
- The Salon de Jeux
- The Gardens

Appartments Royaux
The royal family has a selection of rooms available for their exclusive use in the appartments royaux. Sometimes guests and members of the court will be invited to join the royal family in them. For instance, ladies in waiting often join the Queen in her salon, and the King often receives guests in the dining chamber.
The royal apartments include:

- Chambre de la Reine
- Chambre des Enfants
- The Dining Room
- Chambre du Roi

Cabinet de la Cour
The cabinet de la cour refers to the wing of the palace that contains rooms designated for the use of the court. In particular, all suites and private chambers are accessed through the Salles de la Pairie, a hall of rooms used by the peerage. The Salon de la Sagesse, or the salon of wisdom, is intended for the use of visiting provincial leaders, and the private suites of the Ducs and Duchesses are accessed there.

Images & Inspiration
Main image (exterior) - The exterior of the palais de Morhban is modeled after the Alcázar of Segovia, a 12th century Spanish castle.
Great Hall - Inspired by that of the historic St. Bartholomew's Hospital, built in the 12th century and then refounded by Henry VIII before his death.
Petite Galerie - Concept based on one of Versailles' many building campaigns.
