Location
The Marquesan Guild is located at the corner of Artère Principale et Rue Coupole, right next to the Playhouse.

Reasons to Visit
- Marque limning
- After debut, courtesans come here to get the bands of their marques limned. Later, they will return for the limning of stalks, leaves, and petals, respectively.
- Marque retouches
- Though a courtesan's marque is limned with care, it can become distorted over time (especially in the case of Valerians). Marquists usually charge a minimal fee to retouch a marque.
Description
A large room greets those entering the guild of the Marquists of Terre d'Ange. Several areas for use to limn the marques upon those from Night Court, separated by silken curtains, richly embroidered with vibrant colors which serve also to muffle the sound between patrons. Each area has a luxurious elevated pallet for the comfort of those receiving their marque, the scent of tea for those waiting is served by one training for the guild.
Towards the rear of the room a wall is nearly covered with small drawers which hold the valuable dyes used to create the delicate designs. A large book, bound in red leather and appearing well-used is placed reverently on a book stand. House marques, old and newer are framed upon the walls, the colors reflective of the favored dyes.
The tone is hushed, in keeping the sacredness of the work which they do. However, near the back is a leather chair which reclines for placing marques on those who are not of the Houses. In the corner of the room is a shrine to Naamah, where the marquists' tithes are placed before being taken to the temple proper.
