History

Originally founded by Evangeline nó Balm, it was created after the controversial political decision made by the Council of The Night Court to disallow secondary occupations to courtesans who continued to serve in The Thirteen Houses after having completed their marque.
Backed financially with the support of D'Angeline nobility and the generous gift of a house located on Mont Nuit by Queen Athenais, Naamah's Garden opened with great success, allowing its courtesans in residence to continue their service to Naamah while pursuing their secondary occupations and professional pursuits.

Location

Le Jardin de Naamah is located at Rue Mornay et Cercle de Fleur, which is so-named for the famous flower gardens that line the front of the buildings that populate the street. It shares the location with Houses Alyssum, Orchis, Heliotrope, and Cereus. At the peak of the hill the whole of Night's Doorstep can be seen unfolding all the way to the river bank, and in the distance to the southwest, the four towers and the spires of the royal palace point skyward.

Courtesans

All the courtesans listed have completed their marques in their respective Houses. PC's are welcome to RP having contracted assignations with them, though an @mail or page to advise the salon's owner of their activities is greatly appreciated!

Arielle nó Heliotrope - Age 34. Despite her strong looks and tall stature, Arielle is one of the most amicable, gentle women one may hope to meet, even if she is frequently assumed to be a Mandrake. Warm and welcoming, she is a social butterfly with a penchant for dancing, singing, and fine foods and wines. Portrayed by Lucy Lawless.

Odette nó Cereus - Age 29. This half D'Angeline has exotic, dark skinned parentage from even further south the Menekhet. She is an avid fan of the outdoors and an excellent rider who enjoys talk of hunting, falconing, riding, and other outdoor activities. Portrayed by Rachel Luttrell.

Servants

Emmaline - Age 15. She works as a housemaid and as needed, as a lady's maid for Evangeline. She is fascinated by Servants of Naamah. Emmaline is portrayed by Scarlett Johansson.

Rodrigo - Age 62. Rodrigo is half D'Angeline, half Aragonian, and serves as Le Jardin's head butler, majordomo, and sommelier. He has a rich, dark voice and is a master at organizing the salon's servants. Rodrigo is portrayed by Ian McShane.

Reasons to Visit

• Assignations

The courtesans of Le Jardin de Naamah hail from a variety of the Thirteen Houses, and are all accomplished in their chosen profession, having completed their marques and deciding to continue their service. Assignations with these Servants of Naamah are highly sought after, and the Garden's variety of 'flowers' is one of its most attractive qualities.

• Society

Le Jardin de Naamah provides ample opportunity for social gatherings, be they large events such as fetes and Debuts in the Grand Hall, or much more intimate discussions of academia, politics, and other such topics in the salon. It is a popular locale for the nobility, courtesans, and the influential citizenship of Elua.

• Education

Many if not not all of the courtesans in residence will offer their various skills to students wishing to seek out their expertise. The arts of massage and healing, wine tasting, and equestrianship are just some of the skills that can be taught by the Garden's accomplished men and women.
