Juliette Claire LeVigne is a perfumist and flower merchant.

Background

Juliette Claire LeVigne was born in Elua, the daughter of a merchant class family that dealt in perfumes and exotic oils and cosmetics. From an early age, she displayed a keen nose for scents and would often accompany her father

and brother to gather herbs for their concoctions. When she was old enough,she began working properly in the family shop, usually behind the counter, though she was always ready to help give advice to any customer in need of choosing the right product.

However, tragedy struck when she was just fourteen years old. Her mother, already advanced in years, had a very difficult childbirth. She lost her life, as well as the baby's and Juliette's father never recovered from the loss. He began to drown his sorrows in drink and pretty soon, the family business was being run by her older brother and herself. For years the siblings ran the business and did their best to care for their drunk and ailing father. Finally, though, their father passed to the Terre D'Ange beyond, joining their mother. This was not met with much sadness, for Juliette was glad her father was with her mother again and not drinking himself into a violent stupor.

Personality

Personality wise, Juliette is very bubbly and warm-hearted. However, outside of her business, she lacks the smarts most people have. She is very naive and frequently finds herself in various scrapes. She is prone to blush at most any kind of compliment and it is very apparent
she is an innocent. Most times happy and energetic, when she does get sad, she bursts into tears and needs consolation. When it comes
to major decisions, Juliette is hopeless at them and leaves such tasks to her older brother. But she does have a reckless streak, and
such will most often than not leave her in various comedic situations.

Family, Friends, & Enemies

Family

Eduard LeVigne(NPC;Deceased)-Juliette's father. He taught her all about flowers and perfuming. When she was little, he would let her work in the shop. After the death of her mother, though, he became a violent drunk. He died when she was nineteen.

Amalie LeVigne(NPC;Deceased)-Juliette's Maman. She died birthing a stillborn child when Juliette was fourteen.

Benoit LeVigne(NPC)-Juliette's older brother. He inherited the shop when their father died. He takes care of all the business aspects and expenditures and also cares for his scatterbrained little sister. He is courting the baker's daughter. Though Juliette loves her brother very much, she can't help but think he is stingy and a bully most times. She thinks he needs to lighten up and have more fun and not be so bossy and strict all the time.

Others

Arabelle(NPC)-The baker's daughter with big breasts and golden curls. Benoit is courting her and lets her name some of the perfumes which hurts Juliette's feelings.


Gabrielle - One of her very first customers! This madame likes yellow and purple and flowers too! She wanted a special perfume made of sunlit meadows and she gave Juliette a hug and bought a bouquet! She is a courtesan from Mont Nuit and Juliette was surprised this woman didn't turn into a pumpkin for being outside during the day.

Gautier -Her other very first customer! He wanted perfume and Juliette to find him a good one but said the one she chose lacked something. She was devastaed! But after he left, the madame Gabrielle explained that he was after perfection so Juliette suddenly got inspired to create perfection in a bottle! He didn't turn into a pumpkin either.

Trivia

Juliette's brother accused her of being dropped on her head as a baby. She thinks that is true and why she doesn't have much brains.

She likes to talk to Elua and pray to him all the time, even in the middle of conversations with other people.

Her maman used to call her 'Elua's Ray of Sunshine' and the nickname still sticks to this day.
