In Recent Times

Mazarin:

During the term of Mazarin de Trevalion's rule as the Azallese Duc and Head of the family times have been rather easy for the Azzallese. A time of enlightenment, of travelling and establishing relations with other countries and cultures has paid off handsomely and the Duchy never wanted for direction or profit. Considered rather strong-handed but fair, the former Duc's relationship with peers and vassals has built a long-lasting sense of loyalty that continues through to this day.

Talaith:

The family is large and mostly spread out, with only a few of its representatives living in Azzalle itself full time. Most are giving to travelling and 'leading the way' like so many navigation starts on themselves. When Mazarin's son and heir left his seat in the Eluan court it remained unfilled for some time, but at the time of Queen Eliresse's death and the Ducal vote it was the voice of his daughter Talaith that spoke for him. Sooner than later, the Duc's death in the sea left the young woman herself in control of House and land.

Hermes:

Sometime in the year 1184 member after member of the House were recalled to meet at Trevalion.

The Family Seat

Trevalion is a city-port in the northeastermost part of the country, set in the vicinity of what would now be Brugges in Belgium, half way between Calais and the Rhenus river.
