Background

Gilles is the only son to Jarred and Anna Cromwell. Being from the country of Alba things were rather primitive. Jarred was part of many tribal wars, but that wasn’t uncommon in Alba. When Gilles was five (5) years old his father and his entire band was killed in combat. In desperation Anna took Gilles and fled Alba in hopes of finding peace to raise her son. Anna had three sisters and they were all married, but only one of them lived away from Alba and that was Gwen. Gwen had stolen the heart of Richard D’Aiglemort Cousin of the ruling House of Camlach. Wanting to get as far away as possible Anna went to stay with her sister. When they arrived they were greeted with open arms or so it appeared. Richard received much grief from his family about taking in Alban even though he was married to her sister. Several years went by before Anna and Gilles were accepted, but they finally were. Suffering from an illness Gwen was never able to have children so Richard took a liking to Gilles and began to teach his the ways of Camlach society.

With nonstop raids and wars with the country Skaldia Gilles was taught the way of fighting and how to survive on the battlefield. At the age of 15 Gilles was sent to Siovale to be taught in the way of books and knowledge. Gilles learned quickly and began to see the power of mental knowledge as well as physical skill. Gilles would stay here until the age of 19 when he returned home when war with Skaldia broke out once again. The year long war was bloody, but Gilles learned quickly Military Strategy. Gilles would emerge as a Leader to his men and would honor the House of D’Aiglemort many times with his bravery and ability to overcome overwhelming odds at times. At the age of 20 Gilles was officially adopted to the House of D’Aiglemort and was allowed to carry the name, but not born of the title there is little change he would rise to power.

Gilles massive look might make people underestimate his mental ability. Gilles loves to read and it isn’t uncommon to see him doing that on a nice summer day. Gilles can speak many languages, but was taught Alban by his mother so he would always remember where he came from. Gilles has been sent to the city to represent Camlach. He has been told of several others, but we will see if he finds them. With the House of D’Aiglemort wanting to be heard Gilles will do his best to represent his family and all of those in the war torn Camlach Only time will tell if there is anything in this world for Giles, but he is ready for the challenge…..Let’s get started.

Personality

Gilles is a rather reserved Individual. Fresh from the battlefields of Camlach Gilles is always thinking strategy in his mind. Loyalty is very important to Gilles and because of this he keeps a very small group of friends. When people are in need Gilles like to save the damsel in distress, but many say he has other motives. Who knows about this one…..
