Felicie has been a Priestess of Naamah's temple for some years now. Her blonde locks seen tending to various duties within it's walls and without for over 15 years. No one knows much where she came from, save the high priestess. She appeared, heavy with an unborn child, one night during a vicious downpour seeking shelter and speaking that she had been guided to their steps int he attire of a noblewoman dirtied with evidence of a long travel. Shelter warmth and food were offered for the night and the next day she was taken to Eisheth's temple.

She spent a month at Eisheth's temple, helping where she could, awaiting the day when she would give birth to the life growing inside her. Daily she walked the path to Naamah's temple to speak with those inside, not giving away from whence she came speaking only that this was where she had been guided to. It is suspected that perhaps she was running from the death of a husband and when asked she only spoke that the past was the past and it was where it belonged, this was her future. Then she would return to Eisheth's temple, waddling on in the hand me down gown. She re-affirmed her intentions though, when the child was born, to take up service in Naamah's temple. It was what she was to do. Her roadside epiphany. The unseen hand at her back urging her onwards when she wanted to just stop.

Within the month, the child was born. A girl, with hair black as sin, and eyes blue like diamonds. Not the coloring of her mother in the least, one assumes the father's looks. She was loved regardless and after a few months, Felicie gave the child to the night court, to balm, with the promise that she would come every day to see to her child. From there, she returned to the temple of naamah and professed her desire to dedicate herself to the temple of Naamah and in service to the lady companion.

Relentlessly over the years, she paired her duties in the temple with visiting her daughter in balm, watching the baby grow and blossom into child and then a young woman. She was present when her daughter let loose a dove and declared her intention to become a courtesan of the night court. Felicie spent her year of service to the temple that must be served in the night court at Balm. A chance to be close to Astrid. It eased in her heart too that her daughter was safe, content in her path and loved by those present in her house. Her year ended, Felicie returned to the temple, taking up the mantle of a full priestess in Naamah's service.

The years do pass, and they are kind to the woman. Her lips still full and soft, hands gentle and kind, Blue eyes wide and welcoming. A constant in an ever changing world is that she will be in the temple, tending to the supplicants and Naamah. There to help with the release of doves, a special prayer for Naamah's love and compassion. If she's not found sweeping the main temple then she's making her way up the hill, to visit her daughter who will debut soon. Sometimes though, she looks over her shoulder, as if the past that she hides so well, might some day come around the corner.

Dramatis Personae

Image:Felicie-wiki5.jpg
Jehanne L'Envers - The former duchess came to the temple, just before she decided to give her seat up. Felicie often wonder whether thier conversation prompted the womans choice.

Gautier no Camellia - A delight, as always, even when he complains that she is always working, never playing and a man with much on his shoulders. A near daily visitor and occasionally, courier to Balm.

Athenais de Morhban - Though often seen from afar, and never up close, it was Felicie who was present the day the Queen visited with her musings.

Brother Chalse - It's not often one sees a Cassiline in the temple. Even one not dressed as one. Whatever conversation passed quietly between them was interesting enough it seems, and they parted ways when it was done.
