Background

Fauve Antionette of House Trevalion was born on a brisk winter day, and while she did not grow up wild, she was nonetheless well familiar with the the lands of Azalle. As one of the sisters of the Duke of Azalle, Fauve led a life of privelege, and was able to experience some understanding of the cultures of Alba and Eire, including their language. It was commonly whispered that there had been some mix Alban in the bloodline over the past few generations, and it was easy to believe, for Fauve had been experiencing visions and dreams since she was a little girl of eight.

Her family was initially uncertain of what to do, even though such a gift might interest the Albans and make her an excellent marriage prospect for one of the royals of the island nation. But one of Fauve's earliest visions, even when she was too little to understand, made it clear to her at least, that nothing else would do but she would serve Naamah. Given the clarity of her vision, at what some argued was too old an age at eleven, she was given over to House Gentian and made a Servant of Naamah when she debuted at the somewhat older age of eighteen, offering the clarity of her visions to the service and needs of her patrons.

At the age of twenty-three, she fulfilled her marque, but decided that rather then continue on at Gentian, or maintain her own salon, she would continue in a new form of service, and was accepted into the ranks of the priestesses of Naamah. By the time she was thirty-five, she was firmly situated in the upper ranks of the clergy, and was selected from amongst them when the previous High Priestess died of old age.

Nine years since, Fauve's visions became somewhat less frequent, but still with remarkable clarity. Distinctly more interested in assuring the sanctity of the Night Court then the trials and tribulations of Trevalion. She has had lovers, born children - for such is permissable for the High Priestess of Naamah, and it is whispered by some that she even foretold the rising of King Bastien to power. A vision recieved in some earlier months prompted an abrupt pilgrimage to Namarre, but at least, the High Priestess of Naamah has returned to Elua, unaware perhaps of the chaos that has since erupted in the Night Court.
