Description
Elua's Square sits at the edge of the noble quarters where they merge
to the north with the quarters of the lesser nobility. The square holds a
large, circular park with a fountain at the center depicting four dolphins at
play, their bodies arching and dancing on their tails amid marble waves. In
the summer, water spews from their smiling snouts. In the winter, the fountain
is dry. The square is populated by several giant oak trees, the great oak in
the center rumored to have been planted by Blessed Elua himself. The park is a
popular meeting place for friends and lovers in the warm seasons.
Surrounding the park are chateaus and regal mansions of the most wealthiest of the city. Far in the northwest, the spires and four towers of the royal palace stand straight against the sky, pointing above the roof tops of the mansions in the quarters. To the north, the noble quarter gives way to the lesser homes of the lesser nobility.
