Camael is one of Elua's eight companions, who settled in the province of Camlach and formed the first army of D'Angeline troops.

Camael
Precepts
Camael founded the first armies of D'Angeline troops, and is credited with providing the earliest D'Angelines with military tradition and prowess. As a result, scions of his line tend toward pursuing martial craft, and even some women of Camlachian descent have been acknowledged as proficient warriors.
Chosen Land
The far eastern border of Terre D'Ange is the province of Camlach. Camlach is a rocky, rough place with borders to Azzalle, Namarre, and L'Agnace to the north, west, and southwest, but shares a broad, mountainous border with Skaldia to the east. The founder of the province, Camael, was militaristic and founded the first armies of Terre D'Ange in the province; the people of Camlach, thus, are known for being warlike, tough, and courageous.
Leadership
House d'Aiglemort has traditionally ruled Camlach, though a number of other strong houses, such as Ferraut, Montchapetre, Valliers, and Basilisque reside there as well. These form the Allies of Camlach, a military coalition of houses that, together, helped defend their lands against Skaldic raids.
Priesthood
Camael's clergy don forest green surplices, and typically carry a symbolic blade at their waists.
