Azzalle

Azzalle runs along the northern coast of Terre d'Ange. At one point, it is near enough to see across the strait to the white cliffs of Dobria in Alba. Azzalle was founded by the angel Azza. It's ruling duchy is House Trevalion.

Geography

Azzalle is one of the most northward provinces of Terre d'Ange, along the coastline to the ocean. It's one of the smallest provinces, yet a very important one even so - it's close enough to Alba and Eire to be one of their main trading partners, and borders Kusheth, Namarre, and the Flatlands, to the east. Azzallines tend to be expert sailors and navigators and are widely credited with first discovering the compass; their maps, also, are second to none. Traditionally, House Trevalion is the reigning duchy of Azzalle.

Recently, the heir to the Duchy, thought to be dead in his years abroad, returned and was elevated to Duc. Hermes de Trevalion currently holds the reins in Azzalle.
